Who am I? I'm glad you asked!
I am happily married to my husband Lars, for 20 years now. We've actually been together for about 22 years. We love each other and enjoy each other more and more with each passing day - if that's even possible! I am a mom of three really terrific kids. My son is a sophmore in college, my daughter is a junior in high school and my youngest is in 6th grade. At first, they were embarrassed that mom sells something SO EMBARRASSING - but now, they enjoy what the income does for their activities! They have learned it's not so embarrassing after all!
Our products are classics - they are foundation garments - the best I have ever found. We want you to look good in your clothes. That is our mission and that's what we do!
How did I get into this business? I have been through a lot of changes over the last few years. I have lost 130 pounds thus far on a low-carb diet. As you may or may not know, when you are in the process of losing that kind of weight - you often try to get by with the clothing you have for as long as possible. Well, I had been doing that and was in real need of simply finding out my new SIZE and getting some things that actually fit.
My introduction to this product? I went to a booth at an expo. The rep offered me some stickers so that I could visually see the lift on my shirt when I put on their bras. I thought I was going to come out without much change. I was wearing a brand new bra. Imagine my shock when I walked out with a four inch lift! I was amazed (and embarrassed). I purchased the bras on the spot. I watched how people responded to the bra booth the entire weekend. Needless to say, I was impressed.
I had been looking for something - something I could do that would help women feel better about themselves no matter where they are at; be it size or otherwise. I love helping women improve their self-esteem. When a woman walks out with a different posture and in tears because for the first time in her life she feels normal in her clothing, or she has never experienced such a fantastic fit before - well, it just makes me feel great about what I do!
I wouldn't trade it for anything!
I want women to know when they meet me - I am VERY down to earth. I know what it is to be a size 28 and I know what it was to be a size 8. I am not ever in judgment of what you look like, or what you have or don't have. Don't be shy, and don't ever worry about that with me. I am simply taking a task that is like a root canal for most women and making it fun - and uplifting!
I love the internet. I love my friends and all my new friends. I am super busy but this business fits in with my long term goals - so it will always be a part of my life!
Finally, but probably most importantly, I am a Christian woman. My faith is very important to me - it has carried me through so much. Everything that has happened in my life has had a meaning and purpose. There have certainly been times that I would have rather avoided the valley entirely - but usually, looking back - there was something good to come out of those times. For that I am thankful.
I know the rules of blogging say that I need to pick a topic and stick to it, however, I do invite you to visit my blog - please note - it is a blog about my business life and my personal life - I don't separate the two - because the two create my life!
